Of course not. We must feel and experience our moods as they come, But sometimes we get stuck worrying about things that are out of our control. Things from our past, things that haven’t yet happened, or relationships we have with others. We can all easily find many things to worry or complain about. I find when I get stuck doing this, I physically make myself sick. It’s a waste of time. And in reality I’m just creating more bad energy to flow into my life. I am learning that I have control over how I look at things and therefore can change the outcome of how I’m feeling in the moment.
So how do we do this??
First, you must learn to live in the moment. It’s all that is real anyways.
Second, be thankful for what you DO have...Don’t waist energy feeling sorry for yourself for what you don’t have.
Joy comes from Gratitude. And in gratitude you find joy, peace and contentment.
When you are sending out that energy, that’s the energy you will be attracting more of in your life.
And third, see the beauty around you. Go out in nature. It will lift your spirit.
Finding happiness is as simple as going back to the basics, simplifying your life. Pay attention to what you’re watching or reading. All that affects your moods. You don’t need more THINGS to make you happy. You have it all right now.
It’s what you choose to focus your attention on.
We live in a society where we are over stimulated with distractions. Our lives have become more chaotic.
That`s because there is a disconnect from our spirit, our source.
Do something that reconnects you to that source. Meditate, go for a walk, or go to church. Whatever it is that connects you to this wondrous universe that we are all apart of.
I hope this will plant a seed in your head, so the next time you are feeling stuck in worrisome thoughts.
Stop for a second, be only in this moment, look around you and give thanks!!
Always in love and light, Elisabeth
