When I was packing, getting ready for my flight back home. A car drives up; a couple men in suits approach my room bearing gifts from the king. I received a traditional Tongan grass skirt, a huge Tapa cloth hanging, some beaded necklaces, and a wooden carved statue. They said the king wanted to give these to me before I left the Island... I was honored and very touched by how gracious and kind he was. As were all the people of Tonga. That experience taught me that no matter what role we play in this life, We are more alike than different. We have different titles, come in all different shades but ultimately we are all the Same!
